No Fake Reviews, No Inflated Claims

The short version

  • We have no customer reviews yet — because we have no customers yet. This is a founding pre-order, and we'd rather tell you that than fake it.
  • We will never import reviews from other listings, invent testimonials, buy star ratings, or run manipulated before-and-after photos.
  • Every claim we make is limited to what we can defend: wavelength, diode count, FDA 510(k) clearance number, price, and coverage.
  • When real customers have real results, you'll see real reviews — with consent, and not before.

Why you're not seeing reviews

Most stores selling a $449 device would paper the page with five-star reviews. Many of those reviews are imported from unrelated listings, generated, or bought. We know, because we looked at how this category markets itself — and we decided not to do it.

Luxuel is a founding pre-order brand. This is our first production run. That means, right now, we have no customers, so we have no reviews to show you. Our storefront is built to hide the reviews section entirely until a real, verified review exists — no placeholder stars, no "based on 2,000 happy customers."

We think the honest version converts better anyway, because if you're spending $449 on a laser cap, your real question isn't "how many stars does it have?" It's "is this a scam?" This page exists to answer that directly.

What we will never do

  • Import reviews from other stores or AliExpress listings. We did briefly experiment with imported reviews early on and removed them — they contradicted our founding-pre-order honesty and created FTC risk. They are gone and will not return.
  • Invent testimonials or fabricate customer counts. No "join 10,000 happy users." When we have zero, we say zero.
  • Show manipulated or borrowed before-and-after photos. We don't use before/after imagery in our ads or on our site. When you see hair-growth results, they'll be published research on the wavelength — cited, linkable — not a stranger's stock photo. See the science, with sources →
  • Overstate the FDA status. The Laser Cap 128 is FDA 510(k) cleared (K253231), not "FDA approved." Those are different things, and we explain the difference plainly. What 510(k) cleared actually means →

What we do claim — and can prove

Claim How it's defensible
128 × 650nm laser diodes The verifiable hardware spec of the device
FDA 510(k) cleared (K253231) The real clearance number for this device category
Single wavelength: 650nm The most-studied wavelength in the LLLT hair literature
$449 Founder Pricing Our actual price, held below the category's $1,200+ norm
~1/3 the price of premium caps Capillus-class caps run $1,200 and up

We do not claim to have more diodes than premium caps (we don't — they ship more), that the device "regrows" or "cures" anything, or that it's "medical-grade." Those are the claims that should make you suspicious of anyone selling one.

How the founding pre-order works

You're buying into the first batch. Your order helps fund the production run, ships in roughly 2–4 weeks, and is backed by our Founding Pre-Order Guarantee: if we can't fulfil your order, you get every cent back, plus a 30-day return window on unused devices and a 1-year warranty. Read the full pre-order terms →

That's the whole model. No inflated urgency, no fake scarcity counter, no invented social proof. Just a real FDA-cleared laser cap, priced honestly, from a small brand that would rather earn your trust than manufacture it.
