No Fake Reviews, No Inflated Claims
The short version
- We have no verified customer reviews yet. Our first units have been delivered, but nobody has yet used a Luxuel cap long enough to say anything meaningful about results — and we would rather tell you that than fake it.
- We will never import reviews from other listings, invent testimonials, buy star ratings, or run manipulated before-and-after photos.
- Every claim we make is limited to what we can defend: wavelength, diode count, FDA 510(k) clearance number, price, and coverage.
- When real customers have real results, you'll see real reviews — with consent, and not before.
Why you're not seeing reviews
Most stores selling an $899 device would paper the page with five-star reviews. Many of those reviews are imported from unrelated listings, generated, or bought. We know, because we looked at how this category markets itself — and we decided not to do it.
This is our first production run. The first units have shipped and reached their owners. What does not exist yet is a verified review: the Luxuel Laser Cap 272 has no customer reviews, and no Luxuel cap has been in use long enough for its owner to judge results. A laser cap cannot be honestly reviewed after a week, so we are not going to publish one that pretends otherwise. Our storefront is built to hide the reviews section entirely until a real, verified review exists — no placeholder stars, no "based on 2,000 happy customers."
We think the honest version converts better anyway, because if you're spending $599 or $899 on a laser cap, your real question isn't "how many stars does it have?" It's "is this a scam?" This page exists to answer that directly.
What we will never do
- Import reviews from other stores or AliExpress listings. We did briefly experiment with imported reviews early on and removed them — they contradicted the honesty this page promises and created FTC risk. They are gone and will not return.
- Invent testimonials or fabricate customer counts. No "join 10,000 happy users." When we have zero, we say zero.
- Show borrowed, stock, or manipulated before-and-after photos. Not now, not ever. And no before-and-after in a paid ad, whoever it belongs to — that is a line we won't cross even with a real customer's permission. If hair-growth photos ever appear on this site, they will be one real Luxuel customer's own images, published with their written consent, shown with the timeframe, the protocol they actually followed, and the plain statement that individual results vary. Until such a customer exists, the only hair-growth evidence here is published research on the wavelength — cited and linkable, not a stranger's stock photo. See the science, with sources →
- Overstate the FDA status. Both caps are FDA 510(k) cleared (K261253), not "FDA approved." Those are different things, and we explain the difference plainly. What 510(k) cleared actually means →
What we do claim — and can prove
| Claim | How it's defensible |
|---|---|
| 272 × 650nm laser diodes | The verifiable hardware specification |
| Power density: 2.93 mW/cm² | Measured figure from the clearance summary |
| FDA 510(k) cleared (K261253) | The real clearance number, covering both caps |
| Single wavelength: 650nm | The most-studied wavelength in the LLLT hair literature |
| $599 and $899 | Our actual prices, both held below the category's norm |
We do not claim that our 272 out-specs the premium caps — at 272 diodes it matches the configuration they use, and matching is not beating. We don't claim more diodes make the device work faster or better, because our clearance says diode count doesn't change how the device delivers energy. And we don't claim it "regrows" or "cures" anything. Those are the claims that should make you suspicious of anyone selling one.
How ordering works
You're among the first customers. Your cap dispatches within 1–2 business days and arrives in about 3 weeks, backed by our Fulfilment Guarantee: if we can't fulfil your order, you get every cent back, plus a 30-day return window on unused devices and a 2-year warranty. That's the whole model. No inflated urgency, no fake scarcity counter, no invented social proof. Just a real FDA-cleared laser cap, priced honestly, from a small brand that would rather earn your trust than manufacture it.
