Why We Built Luxuel
The short version
- Luxuel started when hair loss arrived in our own home.
- The FDA-cleared laser caps we trusted cost $1,200 and up; the cheap ones online were LED devices pretending to be lasers.
- So we partnered directly with a manufacturer of FDA 510(k)-cleared laser caps and built one at a founder price — the device we wished had existed.
It started at home
Luxuel didn't start as a business plan. It started when hair loss arrived in our own home and one of us went looking for something that actually had science behind it — not a supplement, not a shampoo promising the world.
What we found was low-level laser therapy (LLLT): a category with real, peer-reviewed, placebo-controlled research behind it. The science, with sources → And we found that the FDA-cleared devices delivering it started around $1,200 — while the affordable "laser caps" all over the marketplaces turned out to be LED caps wearing the word "laser."
The gap that felt wrong
There was a real device with real evidence, and there was an affordable price — but never both at once. That gap is the entire reason Luxuel exists.
So we did the unglamorous thing: we went to the manufacturer behind FDA 510(k)-cleared laser caps and partnered directly to make a small, numbered founding run of a genuine 650nm laser-diode cap — the Luxuel Laser Cap 128 — priced at $449 instead of four figures. Why $449, broken down honestly →
Honest about where we are
We'll be straight with you about a few things, because that's the whole point of this brand:
- This is a founding pre-order. We have no customers yet, so we show no reviews — real ones only, when they exist. Our no-fake-reviews promise →
- We don't claim miracles. The device is FDA 510(k) cleared for hair growth; it is not a cure, and results in the research come from consistent use over months. What to realistically expect →
- Hair loss in our home was the catalyst, not a testimonial. It's why we started looking — not a before-and-after we're selling you.
We built the device we wished had existed when we went looking: genuinely cleared, genuinely laser, and priced like it wants you to actually own it.
