The cap contains 128 true 650nm laser diodes embedded in the inner dome. When worn, these diodes deliver low-level laser light directly to your scalp — a technique called photobiomodulation (LLLT). Is it laser or LED?
Laser. The Luxuel Laser Cap 128 uses true 650nm laser diodes — not LEDs. This distinction matters: laser diodes produce coherent, focused light at a precise wavelength, which is what the peer-reviewed LLLT clinical studies have tested. Most budget devices use LEDs; Luxuel uses the same laser diode technology found in FDA-cleared clinical-grade devices, at a fraction of the price.
How often should I use it?
For best results, use it consistently — typically every other day or as directed by your healthcare provider. The built-in timer ends each session automatically. Consistency over weeks and months matters far more than any single session.
When will I see results?
LLLT is a gradual process. Published clinical trials measured changes over several months of consistent use. Most people begin to notice changes around weeks 12–16. Individual results vary, and this device is not intended as a medical treatment for any condition.
